Yorkshire of Edina grand opening gives local stakeholders the opportunity to see how their investment will dramatically improve the quality of life for area seniors
Mayor Hovland, Vincent Asset Management officials and many other local dignitaries will be on hand for ribbon cuttings and tours
Too often, retirement investments are represented as just numbers on a page. It’s hard to relate them to anything tangible or feel an emotional connection. That’s why this month’s exclusive grand opening of Yorkshire of Edina is so exciting. Local stakeholders will see firsthand how their investments in this progressive senior living care facility is about to improve the quality of life for seniors and their loved ones here in the Twin Cities.
Yorkshire of Edina is a dynamic senior living facility that combines beauty and functionality with an ideal location in the heart of Edina’s shopping district. Select clients of Eden Prairie Based Vincent Asset Management were able to participate along with the partners in the dynamic development of this project. “With Direct Participation Real Estate (DPRE)clients gain ownership in a hard asset, in this case Yorkshire of Edina,” explains Vincent Asset Management Wealth Manager Ryan Litfin. “During this grand opening, DPRE participants will be able to see their investment come full circle.”
He adds that this project is particularly special, in part because it helps residents remain interactive. “Yorkshire of Edina was created with the understanding that seniors need to continue to live full, vibrant lives. Residents need to have a sense of purpose and belonging. Volunteer and service opportunities in and outside of Yorkshire will be provided to ensure that residents can connect with things that make them feel good.”

More about Yorkshire of Edina
Yorkshire of Edina offers a wide range of senior living options from independent plus, assisted living and advanced care to end of life. Nursing staff is available around the clock, and all residents receive an emergency response necklace system. Residents can age in place; they don’t have to move around the building as their needs change.
Residents also receive support for all seven dimensions of wellness. The staff incorporates physical, spiritual, intellectual, vocational, social, environmental and emotional activities into the monthly calendar.
Legacy Court is a progressive memory support neighborhood within Yorkshire of Edina which offers specialized care for those living with cognitive challenges. Its care team partners with families to explore the resident’s life story, past daily routines and preferences. This creates enriching connections with the residents and supports a person-centered care philosophy.
“Progressive care models, hospitality-level customer service and convenience are built into each facet of daily life for Yorkshire of Edina residents,” comments Litfin. “The staff’s focus on proactively maintaining good quality of life is similar to our philosophical approach to wealth management, which we call Preventative Wealth Care. To see this DPRE investment come to fruition is extremely gratifying for us.”
